Job summary

Verra Mobility seeks a hands-on DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on‑prem environments in a hybrid setup. You will help improve deployment velocity, reliability, and security for mobility products.

You will partner with QE to embed automated testing and participate in on‑call rotations to respond to production incidents. Strong scripting and IaC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on production systems experience in AWS, Azure, or on-premises data centers in a hybrid environment.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms including writing/preserving pipeline-as-code in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.
• Contribute to improvements in DORA metrics: deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, mean time to recovery.
• Implement release patterns (blue/green, canary, feature flags) and rollback procedures.
• Embed automated testing (unit/integration/contract/performance/security) into pipelines with QE teams.
