Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Cloud Systems Architect in Charlotte, NC to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds, with AWS and Azure experience. The role emphasizes designing scalable architectures and guiding customer teams through migration and integration.

You'll partner with IT Security to safeguard data, advise on cloud strategies, and lead cross-functional effort across developers and DBAs.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing and migration to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships between customers and the team.
• Knowledge to integrate services across networks and data processing.
• Experience implementing security information and event management (SIEM).

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
• Determines system specifications, I/O processes, and parameters for hardware/software compatibility and security.
• Coordinates design of subsystems and total system integration; analyzes deficiencies and develops fixes.
• Provides technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
