Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AWS and Microsoft Azure at a minimum.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing technologies and migration to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships between customers and team members.
• Knowledge to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing.
• Experience with implementing security information and event management (SIEM).
• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, Node and Ruby on Rails.
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of work experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on cloud management strategies and optimize workloads in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT Security to manage cloud system security for data and networks.
• Engineer and integrate customer premise apps and systems with cloud resources.
• Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
• Determine system specifications, IO processes, and security maintenance.
• Coordinate subsystem design and total system integration; address deficiencies.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance for database admins and software developers.
