Job summary

Exeter Finance seeks an experienced IT infrastructure leader to set the strategic direction for private and public cloud infrastructure, data centers, networks, storage, and AI solutions. This role drives innovation and aligns technology with business objectives, guiding high-impact projects and influencing senior stakeholders.

You will design architectures, oversee migrations, optimize performance, enforce security, and mentor architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications are preferred.
• Extensive experience with enterprise infrastructures, cloud platforms, AI, data centers, networks, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of infrastructure architectures across cloud platforms, data centers, networks, and AI solutions.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, and integrations with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with senior IT leaders and external partners to drive technology strategy and organizational change.
• Perform advanced performance assessments and optimizations across infrastructures to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Develop and enforce security and compliance frameworks for infrastructure systems.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation and present strategic progress to senior management.
• Mentor and train other architects and staff to build technical capabilities.
