Job summary

Colossus Technologies Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own complex projects from architecture to production. You will design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure powering AI-driven engineering software with a hybrid Cambridge, MA setup.

You will mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms and production SaaS workloads. Strong AWS and Terraform experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing and building production APIs.
• Experience deploying and operating production SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience owning projects throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend infrastructure services.
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy and support production workloads in AWS (ECS/EKS).
• Build secure, scalable SaaS infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and drive technical decisions.
