Job summary

Corcept in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to independently manage mid-to-large studies or two smaller trials. Hybrid role with on-site work three days/week, ensuring protocol adherence, GCP compliance, and efficient study execution across teams, vendors, and CROs.

The role includes leading study activities, developing timelines and budgets, and overseeing data quality and regulatory documentation in collaboration with Medical Writing and Clinical Development.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or nursing degree required.
• 6+ years’ experience as a CRA or field monitor in biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO setting.
• Study-related management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead protocol implementation and ensure execution per ICH/GCP and SOPs.
• Act as Study Lead for multifunctional teams to manage start-up, enrollment, maintenance, and closeout.
• Oversee data quality and vendor performance across sites and CROs.
• Provide training, guidance, and oversight to Clinical Research Associates.
• Contribute to development of study documents and timelines to meet budgets.
• Coordinate with CROs, vendors, and sites for regulatory submissions and IP accountability.
