Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a Lead Pharmacist for the Troy Center for Specialty Care Infusion and OR Pharmacy to lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure high-quality patient care. You will help plan, open and operate infusion and OR pharmacy services, collaborating with pharmacists, technicians, providers, nurses and other partners.

The role includes cross-training to support community pharmacy and contributing to process improvements within a leading academic health system in the Oakland County

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy, or BSPharm with commensurate experience.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in Michigan or eligibility within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to perform manual dexterity, standing and computer work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Oversee procurement, storage, compounding, dispensing and drug safety practices.
