Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college
• Current licensure as a registered pharmacist by the State of Michigan
• Michigan Controlled Substance License to practice pharmacy, or eligibility within 60 days of start date
• Able to prioritize with accuracy and dependability
• Demonstrate teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for clinical appropriateness based on patient conditions
• Compound and dispense medications and IV solutions
• Formulate, prepare, and ensure quality control of pharmaceutical preparations
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and delegated services
• Communicate with prescribers regarding drug therapy and patient response
• Collaborate with health care team on pharmacotherapy
• Assist in development and implementation of new pharmacy services
