Job summary

University of California, Davis is seeking Clinical Instructors to teach clinical rotations for the Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) prelicensure graduate degree. Clinical instruction will occur in hospitals and community agencies in the Sacramento region that meet BRN requirements.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license with a Master’s in nursing (BSN or MSN) required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in medical-surgical, critical care, pediatrics, maternity, community health, or mental health nursing.
• Ability to provide leadership and ensure program objectives are met.
• Experience with learner assessment and data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• 75% - Instruction and student mentoring in clinical rotations.
• 15% - Feedback and evaluation of student performance.
• 5% - Orientation and annual updates for sites and learners.
• 5% - Site liaison and coordination with clinical partners.
