• Earned Master degree in a related area.
• Ability to complement and expand existing expertise in the department.
• Experience fostering respectful, professional environment for diverse faculty, staff and students.
• Valid certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion as a CCP.
• Five years of experience as a cardiovascular perfusionist.
• Two years of experience as an instructor in an accredited educational program in perfusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of clinical education operations for the MSCP program.
• Ensure accreditation standards compliance (CAAHEP-PE) by overseeing site visits and reporting.
• Coordinate clinical placement, logs, progress reports, and site affiliation agreements.
• Develop policies related to clinical affairs with the MSCP Program Director.
• Communicate with clinical site coordinators and preceptors to maintain high-quality education.
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and future clinical sites.
• Lead remediation of clinical performance concerns and student counseling.
• Oversee student onboarding and site-specific training.
• Support faculty development, curriculum design and program evaluation.
• Regularly monitor the Richmond, VA program site.
