Job summary

Sagesse is seeking a Client Support Associate to provide client support, advocacy, and system navigation within a client-centered, intersectional framework. The role focuses on supporting participants, peer support volunteers, and community partnerships across Alberta.

You will engage in program delivery, supervision, and quality improvement while facilitating workshops and group activities. Hybrid work is offered, with occasional evenings/weekends and travel within the province to support

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Registration with a relevant professional body or eligibility for registration.
• Comfort with a hybrid work environment and virtual technology.
• Ability to travel throughout Alberta as required.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide client support, advocacy, system navigation, referrals and follow-up support.
• Maintain client engagement through individual and group support activities.
• Complete High Conflict Screening Tool assessments with clients.
• Complete FIT check-ins and ongoing client support.
• Support program development, delivery, evaluation, and quality improvement.
• Provide clinical support to agency volunteers as needed.
• Facilitation support as needed, including leading workshops and partnership collaboration internally and externally.
• Identify systemic barriers impacting clients and communities.
• Participate in community committees and initiatives as directed.
• Promote awareness of Sagesse programs and services.
• Build relationships with community partners.
• Maintain accurate client files and documentation.
• Update client, volunteer and partnership systems.
• Report monthly activities and service statistics.
• Support funding proposals, reports, and program evaluation.
• Attend supervision and staff meetings.
