Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division, Oregon State Public Health Laboratory, seeks a collaborative Client Services Coordinator (Operations and Policy Analyst 3) in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will lead efforts to enhance laboratory services and strengthen relationships with public health partners, providers, laboratories, and community organizations.

You will develop and implement policies, outreach tools, and resources, provide training, and oversee projects to improve timeliness,

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
• OR seven years of experience that supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
• Strong project management, customer service, communication, strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and HIPAA knowledge are highly desired.
• Experience using Smartsheet or other project management tools to track deliverables and timelines is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to enhance laboratory services and strengthen relationships with a diverse network of public health partners, healthcare providers, laboratories, and community organizations across Oregon.
• Develop and implement policies, outreach programs, tools, and resources to foster collaboration with Local Public Health Authorities, healthcare systems, clinical laboratories, state and federal agencies, tribal partners, and community organizations.
• Provide subject matter expertise and training to laboratory clients to improve submission quality, patient information accuracy, and delivery of high-quality public health laboratory services.
• Oversee the lifecycle of projects designed to advance client services and enhance the overall customer experience.
