Job summary

The Hartford in New York State market is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to retain and grow a defined book of business (Regional Account 500-4,999 lives). You will coordinate stewardship meetings and collaborate with brokers and internal partners to meet client needs.

Travel within NY, NJ, CT region is required. The role offers hybrid work arrangements with three days in the office and remote options for those further away.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Disability and Life Group Benefits experience, emphasis on account management.
• Must obtain and maintain Group Life & Health license within 60 days (incl. CE).
• Ability to facilitate meetings or present to groups of varying sizes.
• Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow a defined book of business (Regional Account 500-4,999 lives).
• Provide proactive client support through stewardship meetings and regular interactions.
• Develop and execute book of business strategies aligned with profitability targets.
• Coordinate enrollment activities and communications with clients.
• Collaborate with Regional Account Executive to educate brokers and staff.
• Drive renewal processes with Underwriter and other partners.
• Act as liaison between customer, producer and internal teams to address needs.
• Identify process improvements benefiting clients and overall base.
