Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Client Accounts Project Manager to support partners, clients, and internal teams with financial management, billing, and reporting. You will translate billing data into actionable insights and drive cross‑jurisdictional matters and cash flow improvements.

Role requires 5+ years in legal financial operations or project management, with PM certification preferred and proficiency in Aderant/Intapp. Hybrid work in multiple offices across the U.S. is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Law, Business Administration or related field.
• PM certs preferred (LPM/LPP/LPA or equivalent); PMP with legal experience desirable.
• 5 years’ experience in legal financial operations or project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engagement with partners, clients, and internal teams on billing and financial needs.
• Convert detailed billing and matter data into clear updates and recommendations for decision-making.
• Produce recurring reporting and commentary on billing activity and cash flow.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve outstanding items and improve collections.
• Assist electronic billing and address submission errors or rejections.
• Track accruals, budgets, AFAs, and matter activity to identify risks.
• Support workflow improvements and standardize processes across the department.
