Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Client Accounting & Advisory Senior Associate in Ambler, PA. The role combines hands-on accounting with client interaction, financial analysis, and advisory services to privately held businesses, focusing on accurate reporting under US GAAP and process improvement.

You will prepare financial statements, support engagements, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple client engagements in a hybrid work setting with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA or in progress is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, or financial consulting.
• Experience with middle market privately held businesses on accounting and operational matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support client engagements involving financial reporting, compilations, reviews, management reporting, and outsourced accounting services.
• Research accounting guidance and assist with complex financial reporting and disclosure matters.
• Provide bookkeeping and general accounting support while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze financial results and communicate insights to clients to support business decisions and planning.
• Work directly with clients to gather financial information, resolve accounting issues, and improve reporting processes.
• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining quality, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Assist with process improvements and the development of more efficient accounting workflows.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
