Job summary

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) is seeking an entry-level Clearing Associate to join the Clearing Department. The role supports post-trade operations across global equities, derivatives, and other asset classes using proprietary systems.

Based in a hybrid setting (4 days in office / 1 day remote), you will learn to reconcile trades, manage settlements, and contribute to system improvements while collaborating with Finance, Tax, and Treasury teams to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the drive to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate IBKR's state-of-the-art clearing and back-office systems to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to development of systems to improve operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Support new business or investment products and ensure regulatory reporting accuracy.
• Engage with developers and teams to be a difference maker in a growing company.
