Job summary

Young Concert Artists seeks a proactive Booking Representative to secure engagements for its roster of artists and expand opportunities globally. Reporting to the Senior Director of Artist Management & Booking, this role requires an aggressive, proactive approach to securing concert engagements and advancing YCA’s mission.

YCA is renowned for launching exceptional classical musicians and providing comprehensive support, including management, concert engagements at top venues, and debut recitals

Qualifications

• Proven success in booking with a focus on classical music.
• Established network within the classical music community with presenters, artistic directors and leaders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven with a track record of meeting goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships for YCA artists.
• Familiarity with Overture Booking Agency Software or ability to learn quickly.
• Collaborative team player with strong people skills.
• Experience mentoring or teaching young artists is a plus.
• Dynamic, proactive and capable of securing meaningful engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with presenters, artistic directors and conductors to secure engagements and meet goals.
• Participate in weekly and monthly booking meetings to track progress and strategy.
• Contribute to strategic development of YCA's artist roster to serve each artist's needs.
• Represent YCA at industry conferences and performances to boost visibility and exposure.
• Assist with department-wide artist management initiatives and YCA growth.
