Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Michigan is seeking a Claims Support Assistant I to join a fast-paced claims team. You will provide intermediate-level support across multiple claim systems, interpret facts, and help move claims toward timely solutions while maintaining accurate files.

The role requires problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication. You will handle inbound calls, assist with data entry, and collaborate across departments on rotating in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with PC software applications and data entry.
• Ability to maintain accurate files and records; identify, investigate, and resolve problems.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate level support to the Claim department across multiple systems.
• Review and interpret facts to assign claims based on business rules.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls to resolve claims needs.
• Resolve assignment conflicts and issues as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and the public.
• Support tasks that may be assigned to related roles when necessary.
