Job summary

Amerisure Insurance Company in Lisle is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager for the Claims department. The role combines oversight of regulatory adherence with policy development, audits, and cross-department collaboration to strengthen compliance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have significant commercial insurance experience, leadership ability, and strong knowledge of insurance laws, with a focus on claims compliance and Medicare-related requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field preferred.
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience in regulatory compliance within the insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train claims staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Develop, review, and update internal claims processing policies for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to integrate compliance considerations into policies.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the area of responsibility.
• Serve as main liaison with regulatory bodies and respond to audits and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records as required by laws and company needs.
• Design and monitor regulatory enterprise risk management solutions.
• Manage the department’s quality assurance and analysis of trends.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and data requests.
