Job summary

Amerisure Insurance Company is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager for the Claims department. The role oversees audits, policy updates, and liaison with regulators, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and standards. A strong governance mindset and leadership skills are essential.

Hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence at one of our offices. Expect collaboration across departments, formal training programs, and ongoing regulatory updates to drive compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, law, or related field. Advanced compliance credentials preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance experience with emphasis on regulatory compliance.
• 2+ years of leadership experience and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and train the Claims team to ensure productivity and compliance.
• Develop, review, and update claims policies to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to embed compliance into policies.
• Lead strategic plans for the regulatory function and risk management.
• Serve as primary liaison with regulatory authorities and respond to audits.
• Maintain records to satisfy legal and internal requirements.
• Monitor changes in regulations and implement updates company-wide.
• Provide training on Medicare compliance and accurate documentation.
