Job summary

GenStar Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a Claims Executive based in Stamford, CT (hybrid: 3 days in the office) to manage litigated and non-litigated casualty claims from inception to closure.

You will provide high level technical claim handling, mitigate losses, address coverage issues, prepare client reports, maintain licenses, attend mediations/trials as needed, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years insurance technical claim handling experience.
• Undergraduate college degree.
• Demonstrates excellence in verbal and written communications, time management, claims judgement, business acumen, organizational and interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
• Industry designations/course work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigated and non-litigated casualty claims from inception to closure.
• Provide high level technical claim handling and support to GenStar clients and insureds.
• Mitigate losses, address and resolve coverage issues, and provide guidance to internal and external clients.
• Prepare prompt, thorough reports for clients, insureds and management.
• Maintain adjuster licenses and stay current with continuing education.
• Attend settlement conferences, mediations, ADRs and trials as warranted.
• Travel as necessary and as required by the Company.
