Progressive Insurance is hiring a claims adjuster trainee in a hybrid setup. You’ll learn to manage a full claims load by phone, with coaching and collaborative support from leaders as you gain expertise in property damage and contracts.

The role begins with a structured training period, offering in-office days and flexible remote days, with ongoing development and the option to work in-office more if you prefer. After onboarding, schedule and location adapt to business needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
