Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer in Milwaukee. The role supports power delivery projects at substations, vaults, and ROW corridors. Hybrid work requires occasional travel to field locations in the We Energies territory.

The position belongs to a job family with Associate, Engineer, and Senior Engineer levels, and requires a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (December 2026 graduates are eligible).
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to company locations.
• Background investigation and security requirements for access to critical assets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for civil/structural engineering assignments on a variety of projects in electric delivery.
• Analyze and recommend civil/structural design options.
• Prepare engineering designs, material and construction specifications and cost estimates.
• Review construction plans and implement construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with drafters to develop drawings and update documents.
• Collaborate with Substation Electrical Engineers on substation designs.
• Support field data collection and inspections.
