Qualifications

• Must have ABET‑accredited B.S. in Engineering.
• Minimum of four (4) years of related engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering/technical guidance for complex problems with long‑term impact.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors activities to meet business goals with limited standardization.
• Prepares technical reports, calculations, and sketches; recommends process enhancements and standards.
• Manages complex projects and mentors other engineers/designer staff.
• Keeps abreast of new developments and applies them to improve processes and standards.
• Develops positive working relationships and communicates effectively.
• Supports Duke Energy goals and represents the company professionally.
• Coaches and mentors junior engineers and designers.
