Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Civil Site Project Engineer to join our Civil Site and Land Development team in Franklin or Nashville, Tennessee. The role supports design and delivery of civil site and land development projects while collaborating with managers, engineers, designers, and clients.

The ideal candidate is a motivated civil engineer ready to take on responsibility, solve technical challenges, and grow into project ownership with opportunities across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience, site/land development preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.
• Strong analytic, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and design for civil site and land development projects.
• Develop and review site layout, grading, drainage, and utility designs.
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software for project designs and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, surveyors, and clients.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource needs.
