Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Civil Site Project Engineer to join our Civil Site and Land Development team in Franklin or Nashville, Tennessee. The role focuses on supporting design and delivery of civil site projects while collaborating with project managers, senior engineers, designers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience in site or land development.
• Experience with site design, grading, drainage, utilities, or stormwater management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and design for civil site and land development projects.
• Develop and review site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, and erosion control designs.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, calculations, and construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to develop project designs and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, surveyors, architects, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource needs.
• Support the preparation of project scopes, proposals, fee estimates, and technical approaches.
• Represent Benesch at industry events, professional organizations, and client meetings.
