Job summary

River to Tap, Inc. (R2T) seeks a Civil Project Engineer to join our growing engineering group. The role focuses on driving projects across water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure with hybrid in-office arrangements in Roswell, GA and Alexandria, VA.

You will develop design drawings, technical specifications, reports, and manage project teams, schedules, and budgets. A BS in Civil Engineering and 5+ years’ experience are required; PE is preferred. Proficiency in CAD tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the engineering/consulting industry.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD-based software required.
• Design and planning experience for municipal facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering solutions for water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities.
• Prepare and review design plans, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Respond to RFIs during construction.
• Develop technical solutions for unit processes and yard piping.
• Conduct site inspections and document findings with reports and drawings.
• Manage multiple tasks, schedules, and budgets to ensure completion.
• Coordinate resources to deliver detailed designs and planning documents.
• Maintain project records and perform other duties.
