Job summary

gpac, on behalf of its client in Scottsdale, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join the office. The ideal candidate will handle civil litigation matters with strong research, writing, and deposition experience, supporting senior attorneys and clients through all phases of litigation.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, 1–3+ years of civil litigation experience, and licensure to practice in AZ or eligibility for admission within 12 months.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 1–3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in AZ or eligible for admission within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases (insurance, personal injury, general liability, etc.).
• Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare and present cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Provide counsel to clients and guide them through litigation.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff for efficient case management.
