Job summary

gpac seeks a skilled Litigation Associate for our Scottsdale, AZ office to handle civil litigation matters with strong research, writing, and deposition experience.

The role involves managing cases from filing through resolution, drafting pleadings and settlement agreements, and advising clients while coordinating with support staff. AZ bar admission within 1 year is expected; hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 1-3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in AZ or ability to be admitted within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to insurance, personal injury, general liability, professional liability, and construction defect.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare and present cases effectively.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and guide them through the litigation process.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
