Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private matters.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges and others involved in the case.
• Conduct research and analyze legal problems.
• Interpret laws and rulings for individuals and businesses.
• Present facts in writing and orally and argue on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as lawsuits and motions.
• Manage paralegals and legal assistants.
• Develop strategies and arguments for cases.
• Guide and advise clients on appropriate legal action.
