Morrison Mahoney LLP seeks a full-time Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation) in New Hampshire, focusing on professional liability, tort and liability defense, and insurance coverage. Candidates should have 4–6 years of civil litigation experience, NH Bar admission, and a willingness to work in a hybrid environment.

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience. The role offers a dynamic practice with deposition, hearing, and trial exposure, plus a collaborative, inclusive

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and NH State Bar admission.
• Bar admission in Maine and/or Vermont, or a sufficient UBE score to waive into one or both jurisdictions, considered a plus.
• At least four (4) years of prior civil litigation experience and experience in both NH state and federal courts.
• Experienced trying cases in NH courts; taking/defending depositions; ADR experience; settlement negotiations.
• Self-starter with strong advocacy skills. Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, along with the ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials to gain courtroom experience.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise litigation strategies.
• Provide regular status updates to clients and maintain clear communication throughout the case.
