Job summary

BCG Attorney Search assists a New Hampshire law firm in hiring an Associate Attorney specializing in civil litigation. The role focuses on professional liability, tort and liability defense, and insurance coverage, with a requirement of 4 to 6 years of civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities include managing caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, and collaborating with clients, experts, and other attorneys.

Qualifications

• Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in New Hampshire state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Experience with depositions and ADR.
• Bar admission in Maine and/or Vermont is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and attorneys on litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
