Iaas Lc is seeking an Engineering Intern to work on mobility networks and public spaces in Portland, ME. You will plan, design, and engineer projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with communities.

The role offers hands-on experience across design phases, use of AutoCAD/MicroStation/ArcMap/QGIS, and a supportive mentorship environment, with typical 40 hours/week and some remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate status in 3rd year or higher of Civil Engineering or related bachelor’s program, or enrollment in related graduate program.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, skills, and software programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with or willingness to learn MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Passion for active transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work as an Engineering Intern on meaningful projects in Portland, ME.
• Plan, design, and engineer mobility networks and public spaces.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, and landscape architects.
• Participate in design phases from outreach to construction documents.
