Kiernan Trebach LLP in Easton, MD is seeking an Associate Attorney for a hybrid Civil Litigation Defense role. You will defend insurance defense matters and manage cases from filing through trial in a growing Easton practice.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, a J.D., and an active Maryland license (preferred). The firm offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Insurance Defense.
• Experience with Employment Law and/or Healthcare Law.
• Experience with environmental and/or construction Litigation.
• Experience writing motions and memoranda, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation is preferred.
• Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend a variety of Insurance Defense matters.
• Handle General Liability cases.
• Handle Personal Injury, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.
