Kiernan Trebach LLP in Baltimore, MD seeks a Litigation Attorney (Hybrid) with 7+ years of Civil Litigation Defense to defend a variety of civil matters. The attorney will manage cases from inception through trial, coordinate with clients and courts, and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.

The ideal candidate will have Insurance Defense experience and the ability to work independently, with a strong track record in settlements and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant civil litigation defense experience.
• Jurist Doctorate and active Maryland bar license required.
• DC Bar active or transferable UBE scores preferred.
• Ability to handle matters from filing to trial independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, analyze data, and develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and the court.
• Draft pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Attend hearings, depositions and trials as needed.
• Defend civil matters including general liability, personal injury, product liability, and professional liability.
