Job summary

SJRC Texas, part of the Belong Network, seeks a Case Care Specialist in a hybrid role serving Bulverde/San Antonio area. You will coordinate services to support safety, permanency, and well-being for placed children, collaborating with network providers and community partners.

You will document activities, attend case meetings, and assist with intake, placement, and transportation as required. Requires relevant education and experience in child welfare.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Child Welfare or related field with two years of relevant work experience or 60 credits with two years experience or 90 credits with one year experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Child Welfare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, case planning, extensions, and discharges with the provider network.
• Collaborate with SJRC Texas/Belong network providers and community partners to deliver services.
• Document client records and case activity; maintain files and logs.
• Attend child/youth case meetings and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Maintain relationships with DFPS, providers, and families to support services.

Education

Associate’s degree in Child Welfare or related field

60 accredited college credit hours + 2 years relevant experience

90 accredited college credit hours + 1 year relevant work experience

Bachelor’s degree in Child Welfare or related field

Master’s degree in Child Welfare or related field
