Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a Chassis Design & Release Supervisor for Brake Systems & Frames to lead the design and release of suspension components across Ford Racing programs. You will collaborate with Ford Racing Vehicle Engineering and suppliers to ensure performance, quality, and cost targets are met.

We value a BS in Engineering, 5+ years in chassis design, and leadership of multi-program teams. An MS degree and 10+ years experience are a plus, with DFMEA knowledge and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in chassis design and release for suspension members.
• Demonstrated experience leading Chassis Engineering teams on multiple concurrent programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and release responsibility for Ford Racing suspension components including controls arms, links, chassis tunable components.
• Lead engineers to deliver program gateways with DFMEA and sound root-cause analysis.
• Manage Tier 1-3 suppliers to meet Ford requirements for system and component design.
• Support pre-program vehicle architecture chassis layout with capability analyses and feasibility assessments.
• Deliver technical project presentations to senior management with results, conclusions, recommendations, and lessons learned.
