Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a Design & Release Engineer to lead the design, release, and delivery of components and systems for current and upcoming Ford Racing programs. You will manage cross-functional relationships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure on-time launches that meet cost, weight, and quality targets.

Required BS in Engineering with 3–5+ years in design & release and CAD experience; MS is a plus.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering required.
3–5+ years of design & release experience.
2+ years CAD experience or visualization tools.
Understanding of GPDS/program delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Lead design, release and delivery of components and systems across multiple commodities for Ford Racing on current and upcoming model programs.
Manage QCWFT to support program milestones and GPDS.
Lead internal/external resources (FSS) to deliver programs and meet customer expectations.
Interface with core engineering and ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
Drive cost reduction across Ford Racing programs using TVM, CRID tracking, and VCAT activities.
Coordinate cross-functional events and sustain cadence for cost initiatives.
