Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect in Reston, VA, a hybrid role requiring ~2 days in an HPE office per week. You will advocate and enable partners, translate needs into architected storage solutions, and support pipeline growth with partner teams.

The role demands a bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS or related field, 5+ years in technical presales for storage, virtualization expertise, and experience with at least one major cloud.

Qualifications

5+ years of technical presales experience with storage vendors or channel partners.
Deep hands-on capabilities in pitching, demos and architecting storage solutions.
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/KVM) and at least two application stacks.
Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with data lifecycle solutions and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

Build partner relationships as the go-to technical resource for HPE storage.
Translate customer needs into architected storage solutions and PoCs.
Support pipeline generation and qualification with partners and account teams.
