Job summary

Dudek is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large environmental planning projects with a focus on CEQA and NEPA compliance. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams while supporting public and private clients.

The role is hybrid with offices in Pasadena or Santa Barbara, offering opportunities to mentor staff and drive business development in environmental planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 12+ years of professional experience in environmental planning and CEQA/NEPA document preparation.
• Experience managing environmental planning projects, including oversight of contracts, budgets, schedules, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEQA and NEPA projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee preparation and quality review of environmental documents and client deliverables.
• Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Mentor staff and support business development while delivering high-quality solutions.
