Patcraft designs flooring solutions that transform spaces and experiences, connecting our inner spaces with the outer world. Our commercial designers explore color, pattern and materials, taking concepts from early ideas through sampling to commercialization.

This hybrid role is based at our Create Centre campus in Cartersville, GA, working in the office 3-4 days a week with close access to fabrication and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in textile or related design discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating color, pattern, texture and materials.
• Experience in textiles or soft surface product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead innovative commercial flooring products from initial research through launch.
• Translate customer, market and business needs into design solutions.
• Research influences across art, design, textiles and interiors to inform direction.
• Experiment with yarn, pattern, color, construction and manufacturing methods.
• Collaborate with Fabrication and Manufacturing to create manufacturable products.
• Manage prototyping, color development, production setup and timelines.
