Job summary

Gulf Coast JFCS is hiring a Career Coach in a hybrid Tampa Bay area role. You will meet clients where they are in their job search, provide personalized guidance, and develop/workshop curricula for career readiness.

The position involves one-on-one coaching, workshop facilitation, and collaboration with the program team to build services for diverse job seekers. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; travel within Tampa Bay may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Human Services, Business, Career Counseling, Education, or related field with 3+ years coaching experience.
• Associate’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience including 3+ years coaching.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Résumé writing experience required.
• Certified Employment Coach or Résumé Writer preferred.
• Experience in outplacement, workforce development, HR, or staffing with coaching focus.
• Demonstrated workshop facilitation and group engagement skills.
• Strong knowledge of job market trends and employer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career coaching to 35+ clients.
• Develop and facilitate virtual and in-person workshops.
• Evaluate clients' aptitudes, values, and experience for career direction.
• Guide résumé and cover-letter development for clients.
• Conduct mock interviews and career exploration sessions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance curricula and tools.
• Use CRM to manage client information and outreach.
