Job summary

Gulf Coast JFCS is seeking a Career Coach to provide personalized guidance to a diverse client base in the Tampa Bay area. The role is hybrid and focuses on one-on-one coaching, curriculum development, and workshop facilitation.

You will work with a range of job seekers, manage a caseload of 35+ clients, and help them identify career directions, build résumés, and develop interview skills to advance employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Human Services, Business, Career Counseling, Education, Workforce Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of recent career coaching experience, or 5 years with Associate's degree.
• Résumé writing experience required; Certified Employment Coach or Résumé Writer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Gulf Coast JFCS's Mission and Core Values in daily activities and interactions.
• Manage a caseload of 35+ job-seeking clients for individualized coaching.
• Develop and facilitate career readiness workshops virtually and in person.
• Follow up with clients to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with program staff to enhance coaching tools and curricula.
