Centra Medical Group in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Hybrid General Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our APP team within the Heart and Vascular Institute. You’ll practice at the top of your license in a collaborative environment, supported by a top-rated health system and fully implemented EMR.

The role features 4 10‑hour shifts per week, 1:1 APP‑to‑MD/DO support, and a 50/50 split of inpatient and outpatient duties including rounding, cardiology consults, discharges, and clinic days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Current Virginia NP license with prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• 4 10-hour shifts per week.
• 1:1 APP-to-MD/DO support.
• 50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient duties including rounding, cardiology consults, discharges and clinic days.
• 1–2 major holiday call shifts per year and 3–5 weekend call shifts per year.

Qualifications

Required Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
