Job Description

Our Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a Hybrid General Cardiology Physician Assistant to join our comprehensive APP team. Responsibilities

Our Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a Hybrid Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our comprehensive APP team. This well-established group offers a strong culture, dedicated APP leadership, and a collaborative environment where you’ll have the opportunity to practice at the top of your license. By joining our team, you’ll provide comprehensive care to a diverse inpatient population while being supported by a top-rated health care system, fully implemented EMR, and nearby admitting hospitals.

You Can Expect

• 4 10-hour shifts per week
• 1:1 APP-to-MD/DO support
• 50/50 split Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities including:
• Daily rounding, Cardiology consults, Discharges, Clinic Days
• 1–2 major holiday call shifts per year 3–5 weekend call shifts per year

Qualifications

Candidates must possess national certification as a PA and Virginia licensure (or willing to obtain) and an active DEA. Must embrace a team‑oriented approach and have a strong desire to make a difference in the community. New graduates are also welcome to apply for consideration.
