Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks an Assistant Director of Development to support the Campaign Management team for the College. You will prepare fundraising materials, manage cross-functional projects, and provide data-driven insights to advance the campaign objectives.

You will assist in donor communications, gift acknowledgments, and coordination of materials for stewardship, with emphasis on timely, accurate, and compelling messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years of related nonprofit/development experience.
• Experience writing for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of fundraising materials and reports.
• Manage cross-functional development projects and campaigns.
• Provide writing and copy-editing support for fundraisers and partners.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM.
