Job summary

Property Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Community Association Manager to oversee an 8-10 property portfolio of condominium and HOA communities in the Chicago suburbs.

The role involves traveling to attend Board meetings, inspections, and events, ensuring professional and efficient community operations. You will serve as the liaison among Boards, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams, with responsibilities including budgets, financial reviews, RFPs, and contract oversight.

Qualifications

• Illinois CAM license is required.
• Experience in community or property management is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Board Members, homeowners, committee members, and vendors.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned community associations per agreements and governing documents.
• Attend Board meetings, annual meetings, property inspections, and community events.
• Prepare Board meeting agendas and management reports.
• Develop annual operating budgets with Association Boards.
• Review monthly financial statements and prepare management summaries.
