Job summary

Lochmueller Group seeks a CAD Systems Manager to lead Civil 3D administration and standardization across states, ensuring consistent modeling and plan production. You will develop templates, train users, and collaborate with IT on Autodesk products.

This hybrid role supports multiple Midwest offices, with occasional travel. A senior candidate with 10+ years in CAD design and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years CAD/civil-design experience with Civil 3D administration and workflows.
• Experience with multiple state DOT standards is preferred.
• Ability to lead CAD standards and provide instructor-led training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AutoCAD/Civil 3D standards, templates, and workflows.
• Train and mentor CAD users on core skills and standards.
• Analyze CAD workflows and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate upgrades and licensing with IT and project teams.
