Job summary

Lochmueller Group seeks an experienced CAD Systems Manager to lead AutoCAD Civil 3D standards, templates, and workflows across multiple states. You will train CAD users, develop documentation, and partner with IT on Autodesk deployments to ensure project consistency.

You will drive efficiency with process improvements, manage cross-team collaborations, and explore new design technologies to support infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years CAD systems or Civil design experience with Civil 3D expertise.
• Experience leading CAD standards, templates, and workflows across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AutoCAD/Civil 3D standards and workflows across states.
• Train and mentor CAD users on standards and core Civil 3D skills.
• Analyze CAD workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT on upgrades, licensing, and deployment for Autodesk products.
• Evaluate Autodesk products and design technologies for adoption and long-term support.
• Develop automation workflows using AutoLISP, Visual LISP, or Dynamo.
