Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a highly experienced Civil 3D Manager to lead Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related digital delivery technologies across our enterprise. This role supports over 1,000 engineering practitioners and bridges technology with project delivery and client service.

The position is hybrid and may be based in any Dewberry office nationwide, with travel as needed for training and implementation. Candidates should have deep Civil 3D expertise and a proven record delivering complex

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience using Civil 3D in planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including surface modeling, corridors, pipe networks, grading, parcels, templates, and project collaboration workflows.
• Demonstrated experience supporting engineering production and developing construction deliverables for transportation, land development, municipal, site-civil, or water resources projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering workflows, project delivery, quality control, and business considerations within an AEC environment.
• Experience developing standards, training programs, technical documentation, and workflow improvements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to engage technical staff, project managers, and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise leadership for Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related civil engineering technologies.
• Support engineering teams in the effective use of Civil 3D and digital delivery workflows across multiple business units.
• Develop and deliver training, guidance, standards, and best practices that improve project execution and staff productivity.
• Lead the development and maintenance of firmwide Civil 3D standards, templates, and production procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and project delivery through technology and process improvements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend practical applications for Dewberry.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, and CAD/BIM professionals to address production challenges and support successful project delivery.
